aka Flint

cattery one in a million - Flint
Male 13-12-2018 Black silver tabby spotted Father One in a Million Rare Bright Topaz Dam One in a Million It Just Started with a Whisper Flint was neutered at the age of 4 weeks and had an operation on his urinary tract due to health reasons. He has been going through life as a "kitty" ever since. Because of serious blockages by crystals / stones, he had a penile amputation in which a completely new "opening" was created. Flint has now been operated on several times and treated intensively. The opening that was created has closed up a number of times, which made it necessary to operate again. Flint is now 13 weeks old (14-3-2019). Under the circumstances, things are going well, of course we will continue to keep a close eye on him now and in the future. As long as it grows, there is a possibility that it will grow back again. We are grateful to our vet for taking up the challenge. dared the operation. Normally we should have put Flint to sleep when he was 4 weeks old. Such an operation is already a challenge on an adult animal, let alone on a kitten of only 400 grams. The chance of success was very small, but we had nothing to lose / no more choices and are very happy with the result. Flint also owes their pedigree name Flintstone to them. In practice, Flint was affectionately called Flintstone. Because of the long road we have walked, the tears that have been shed, the worries we have had and the great bond that has been formed, Flint will continue to live with us as a spoiled home Bengal. It is now July 2019 and luckily Flint is doing very well! Flint is growing fast and has not had any nasty surgeries to date. Finally, since he is about 4 months old, we are really enjoying him.
13-12-2019 Today is Flint's birthday! 🥳️🥳️🎉 Who would have thought in January that he would grow into the huge teddy bear that he is now. What a miracle, what a strong cat, what a tough guy. Thanks to the efforts of our vet Flint is now 1 year old and he is doing very well. We love him and are still immensely grateful and happy that he was given the opportunity. Everyone hoped with us, but no one really expected it to work. Yet he has proven otherwise. Thank you to everyone who followed Flint's adventure with us. And a huge thank you to the vets who were (and are) ready for us day and night, during the week and at the weekend. Flint (stone), brought into the world by Dennis, operated by Anne & Dennis, various interventions by Anne, Dennis, Tiny & Bram assisted by the assistants (and anyone I may forget) 😘💟
